Of course, the number one reason for purchasing an air intake is to increase performance and efficiency. Here, the XDI Air Intake really shines. We remove the restrictive mufflers and resonators on the stock tubing and replace them with smooth mandrel bent tubing. We replace the air box with our high flow canister. Finally, after extensive research on True Flow’s flow bench, we changed the direction of the air filter so that the air flows from inside-out of the filter. We call it “inverted air flow technology.” This revolutionary change increases the air flow by over 50 percent and increases power by up to 27 horsepower and up to 62 foot pounds of torque. |
